A button can look visually clean on screen while remaining physically frustrating to hit. This experiment separates what your eyes see from what your hands can actually touch.
When you tap the payment interface, the simulation tracks every hit and miss in real time. Sliding the Finger Size control from a precise stylus to a broad thumb reveals how fragile small controls really are.
Buttons that look fine visually start producing misses as simulated touch areas grow, scattering red miss indicators across your tap heatmap and dropping your accuracy score.
Clicking Fix All Undersized Targets expands each hidden touch area to Apple's recommended 44x44 pt minimum without altering the visual design. The layout stays identical, but your taps land cleanly every time. You aren't just designing UI elements. You are designing physical touch zones.
